You sipped your drink
quickly and calm
not knowing what would happen
when the alcohol hit your brain
you looked at me, then turned away
flicked on the TV, and started to moan
you ruined my life
that night you drank
i was just a little girl
i didn't know better
now every time i look at you
everything you do
reminds me of that night
the night that ruined me
the night my life went wrong
