Sugar and spice and everything
that's what little girls are made of
having their dreams soar high above
like beautiful wings of the great white doves
mothers alll frightened that their little girls will grown up because

Teenage life is a horrible thing
lives being ruled by a dictating king
nothing to do no one to see
who are we al suppose to be?
nowhere to go and no one to talk to
whats the world going to do?

love is the stage next
some are acting like they are stuck in a cage
but i believe there's more
teenage life isn't such huge bore

Take a stab with a knife
get your own life
why cant you see you're only what they want you to be
living like a paper doll not finding your own call

take off the masks choose your own tasks
why are you only what they want you to be
down on your knees begging please
you wonder threw "who am i"
as you watch your life pass you right by
