You love the boy with all your heart
Don't let any of your so called "friends" tear it apart
I'm not saying to let him be all you think about,
because you do have friends you can turn to, have no doubt
Some friends that will and do truly care
I know I'm at least one who will always be there

I understand what you're going through
That phrase "crazy in love" is perfect for you
Being "crazy in love" causes you to be a different way,
changing some of the things you do and say
He is the addition to your life, the all new part,
but he can never change who you really are at heart

Granted you did some things I wouldn't suggest,
putting some through the ultimate test
For example, ignoring some of your friends
In one case taking three months to make amends
But when all is said and done, it's in the past
It took some time but it didn't last

Now let me get to my point before I stray off too far
I have some important words for you and here they are:
That boy you love, in my book he's okay,
and not in that "iffy-iffy" kind of way
He really has turned out to be a good kid,
changing his ways from the things he did

I'm very proud, you held strong the whole way through
You made him the boy that he is now, your dream come true
So never give up, never have any regret
And one more thing before I forget,
ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS follow your heart,
just make sure everybody in your life has a part
