Blood Filled Halls

These halls filled with laugher and of doubt
Worries will soon flood
As guns enter the scene they begin to shout
These halls now filled with blood

Screams of terror and of fright
No room for joy or pleasure
But minds now blank come into sight
The amount of pain you can not measure

The teachers and students now dead
As sirens sound softly from a far
All fear filled survivors fled
Anger now raising the bar

No need for guns or knives
No need for violence at all
Counting the dead innocent lives
Walking down the corpse filled halls

The building surrounded no place to run
Murder in the highest degree
It’s over but indeed it was fun
Too bad they won’t let me walk free

Running for hope and a clean soul
Turn to leave and walk alone
Heart as empty as a hole
Dead faces haunting forever shown
