As she lays in her own tears

Her mind takes her somewhere

Flashbacks of the numerous tragedies

That she’s never been able to bear

As a child so young

With a mind so pure

Her innocence and childhood were taken

Given no complete cure

Her happiness was drained from her body

Sorrow filled her eyes

Unprotected and alone

No one could hear her muffled cries

Leaving her hopeless

In the blind eyes, he won the favor

And continued to long for her

And the moments he could savor

He had so much power

She couldn’t escape

Resisting and fighting aroused punishments…

A tortured death or his painful affection…RAPE

He violated her space, body, and mind

Her only hope became to die

Breaking her silence of this “good” man

Would be thought to be a lie

A voice of a friend

Spoke the untold

A year and a half later

The memories she planned to forever hold

Backs began to turn

Just as she knew

It was now the beginning of the punishments by her father

For what he believed was untrue

So why is this girl crying now…

You ask?

Her parents associate with this man

Believing his “good person” mask

feeling betrayed and fear scared

Her spirit and hope have died

Thinking she cant go on

she commits suicide
