Reprieve My Broken Soul

Forgive me father for I have sinned
I have lived a life of devilish ways
And wander down this familiar dark path
Not knowing where I went astray

I’m sorry daddy you saw your little girl like this
I never meant to make you cry
I never wanted to make your heart wither
And never wish more for me to die

Mother please forgive me
Get up off the ground
I’ve fallen too quick for all to see
And no one is around

I should have been a better person
A better daughter in this life
But now I’m crumpled in a heap
Forever crippled with my strife

Lord please help me up
Daddy stop your crying
Mommy wont you help me?
Cant you see I’m dying?
