Just Friends?

They were friends from the first look, and that, they would remain. Not
lovers until one day when one's heart was in so much pain. His heart
throbbed when she came near, but he was always there when she shed a tear.
His heart longed for her love, and so much came after that first hug. He
asks, "how 'bout a date, what do you say?" my reply is that
we r just friends, but were not sure it will stay that way. We could become
lovers, or even hate each other, but one thing’s for sure, you are like a
brother. Caring for me in that oh-so-special-way makes me think of you all
night and all day. At night, when they sat at home hunting for something to
do, they longed to be back with each other, where their life they described
to each other seemed larger, funnier, more colorful, and more true.
