War Of The Gods

Slow rumbles glide through the sky,
Lightning randomly flashes,
You see with your naked eye,
It strikes a tree and to the ground it crashes,
The rain pounds on the roof of the house,
Getting you to believe there is an army above you,
Scurrying across the floor is a frightened mouse,
Why does god cry and make the sky such a dark hue?
Thunder booms again- a warrior has fallen above,
The rain comes harder as his family weeps,
War of the gods goes on and from the sky falls a single dove,
This memory of the war of the gods you wish not to keep,
But it is immpossible, for god wishes you to remember for all eternety and
know that no good comes out of war...
