Death From A Broken Heart

Tell me a story make it true
Only the fool proof facts will do
If you lie I shall know
Even if I’m feeling low

Pull the wool over my eyes
And still my ears will hear your lies
You think you can fool me
Yet through you I can see

Looking through that pane of glass
I saw you with that other lass
You looked so close and near
And that was my greatest fear

Being with you is a double edged sword
Looking at you is all my bruised heart can afford
You touch me with your tender lips
Makes me tingle to my finger tips

Being with you makes me sick
How could I have been so thick
To think that you is what I need
Even when you do this awful deed

Deep inside I know it’s wrong
But for you my heart does long
So goodbye my dear
Do not fear

When I reach the gates of death
After I have took my final breath
I shall remember you
Even after what we’ve been through
Our love is a never ending feeling

And with death there should come a healing
Free myself from this lust
That is something that is a must

I don’t feel any pain
Even though I’ve cut this vein.
