Life is like a rose
Filled with soft petals
And sharp thorns
Soft petals that are like
Smooth roads that lead
You down a road in life
Sharp thorns that are like
Those hard roads in life
That force you to grow up
There are many things
That I have had to go through
To get to where I am today
I have traveled on rocky roads
Roads that have bumps and cracks
But I never quit
I kept going
Kept going to reach my goals
So don't quit
When you are already
So close to your goals
Tough it out
Do your best
And you will live your dreams
