Hey Travis! How are you sweets?
I can't believe I'm still going on.
It's been so different lately,
I've been wishing you weren't gone.
I ride by sometimes,
Hoping to see you again.
But it appears that my dreams
Are the only places you're visiting.
It seems so long ago,
A few years at least.
Since the day you went away,
and stole a piece of me.
Sometimes I can't even function,
At the thought of you.
Sometimes i even wonder,
Why didn't He take me too?
But I guess I'm still not ready,
I'm working on it though.
Trying to get right with God,
So He can claim my soul.
It still gets hard sometimes,
when I think of me and you.
I think of all the things you said,
And the crazy things you used to do.
Sometimes, when I close my eyes,
I can picture you in my mind.
And at times when I feel bad,
It's your kind words I find.
So even though you're gone,
Your memory is still with me.
And everywhere I go,
With you I will always be.
