Hidden Behind Makeup

I look in the mirror,
soon it will all become clearer.
Ive just woken up,
time to put on my makeup.
For all the small defections and imperfections,
use a bit of cover up to find a better reflection.
A tad of blush for the paleness,
in my own skin I become comfortless.
For all the sleepless nights,
and un-won self fights.
Bags become visible under my eyes,
just a bit of eyeliner to disguise.
We live in a age,
full of hate and rage.
Where people dissect you,
and judge you.
Its all untrue!
People become helpless,
do everything to look there best.
But in the end,
what are you trying to pretend.
To be beautiful and pretty,
all gitty but with pity.
Just remove the mask you call yourself,
and try being your real self.
