Shadows fall around
Darkness coming down
Where are you tonight
Silver moon shining bright?
I look up; see stars shine
Twinkling in an image divine
Burning itself into my memory
To later call upon and see
At a time in life when I feel depressed
I'll see those stars and be at rest
A faithful image for me to keep
Safely tucked in memory deep
Allow me to go on believing
I'll always remember this beautiful evening.
