I should have seen it comming

I should have seen it comming
The day you'd take off running
And leaving me with all the pain
My tears come down like rain
And yet you feel no remorse
I forgot everything's my fault of course
You have a black heart or just no soul
I guess it's my turn to pay the toll
You have shocked me my friend
I thought I could see to the end
But you fooled me once again
I don't think I'll be able to mend
This time though I'm going to pull away
For you cannot hurt me this day
I see who you really are under it all
You'd never pick me up when I'd fall
I was always there for you
Right beside you in whatever you do
But you leave me hanging every time
What you've done should be a crime
