Life is death rapped in a secret mist,
a sweet fairy-tale with a Gothic twist.
Fallen cinders over our first kiss,
your ignorance led to this.

The darkness echoes all the of my cries.
The time has come for my demise.
Freedom encased in the most unusual disguise,
tears of death slowly shield my eyes.

You never there in my time of need,
now you hold my frail hand and watch me bleed.
You knew this would happen, you knew i would concede,
but you neglected every single plead.

Death my mistress has come in search of me.
I will soon leave all this insanity.
The leaves slowly descend from the deathless tree
and hit the waves of the roaring sea.
