Love Song For the Unloved

old and worn
college applications.
where your essay was too formal
and your clothes weren't enough,
band aids can heal the wounds you get
but they cant heal the feelings
do you remember the night
we perspired and we got dizzy
the night we were together
as you traced my every curve
beocming familiar with the enemy.
you learned my name
you learned my name
but you never knew who i was
oh, sugar, you learned my name,
you learned my name,
but you never knew who i was
and you'll never see me again
so remember my every move,
remember the color of my eyes,
the bluest you've ever seen.
remember the way i bit my lip,
as i was calling to you.
bubt my eyes aren't as blue
as that girl you used to love.
and the only reason i bit my lip
was becasuei was nervous
you knew i was a failure
you knew i wasn't good enough
but you learned my name
you learned my name
and we made love
becasue you thought i was beautiful
you learned my name
you learned my name
and i thought you were amazing
you learned my name
you learned my name
and I'll never see you again.
