Untainted, untouched
The life we all felt at the age of ten
No matter what we were cool
Nothing but love and high fives
No matter how we acted we were fools
Even if we were to drool, we were cool as ice
Girls were nice
Boys were mean
In school we would actually listen to what was taught
And talking in the back was a crime not to be caught
But if you were one who got caught
You would cry and sit in the corner by yourself
No one to help
And now at the age of 16, we are all in the corner
No one to say "cheer up it'll get better" and mean it
Back when, no could tame us
Wild beats roaming the playground
No one to get us down
Nothing to bring us to the underground
Never once remember having a frown
I had to crown
King of the playground
King of life
Friendship was one cat bringing the Lego's
Another bringing the football
And now i know those were simple days
When you would take all you could haul
To a friends house to share your toys
I can barely even remember those simple joys
But I do remember when i was ten
I would stand tall at four foot
And shout i am the king
