Darkness

Tripping in the darkness, searching for the light

I feel the walls around me gripping very tight

The room is closing smaller and the carpet feels like glass

I don't know if I can stay here, or even how long I'll last.

The air is getting thinner, the clock is standing still,

all I want is some one to come and hold me near.

I need to feel your presence, I need to feel your love

for this room is getting tighter, I just need a great big hug.

Suddenly there's light in the corner, I can see my hands again

I know there's hope around me and the walls stop moving in

I know there's hope for a future, a future not so dim

When I can feel your love, I know no darkness can get in.
