A hurting of my own design
Created by my own hand
Strayed from my contemporary line
brought on my demand

I knew I'd be hurt
Nonetheless i fell for you
Play with fire, you'll get burnt
A lesson i should have knew.

Lean on your shoulder, Play with you hair
A soft cheek kiss
Knowing you wouldn't always be there
only temporary bliss.

At home you have another waiting
Now you have to choose
A lost mind debating
One must win, and one must lose.

Before you speak
I know you choice
A look on a face so meek
i hear you eyes and not your voice.

Though i was not your choosing
I know you decision right
A heart bruising
A relationship out of sight

Still, I'm glad it was her
Whom you can see and touch
Though i wanted you, sure
But i cant be with you, and miss you too much

A bitter goodbye
An I'll miss you hug
Stifling watery eyes
A sour tearing bug.

was it worth it, all those tears
One moments soft word
Yes, I'll remember forever plus years
You made me more than just a freshman class nerd.
