Vengence Of Thoughts

You're ice, you're putrid, damn well demeaning,
You strangle me, mangle me, leave me here bleeding.
I hate you! I hate you! Just please go away.
On second thought, wait, dont go yet, just stay.
Of all of the people, so foul and so wry,
I never thought you'd make me stumble and cry.
I loved you! I loved you! Your were forever mine.
You were supposed to make me shine.
What happened to trust? What happened to fate?
You can't just erase them from life's granite slate.
I thought you unselfish, I thought you so true,
But I learned my lesson, and I wish I had knew.
Knew how you'd use me, then tie up your pack,
Knew how you'd take all that lovliness back.
Your greed makes you hungry, of that now I'm sure.
Your darkness ate into my light, small and pure.
And now that you've heard it, I'm telling you, go.
Go back to your cave filled with greed, need, and woe.
And maybe, just maybe, you glance back one day,
Remember these words; they're all I have to say:
Despite all the torture you carried my way,
I stood up to it all, and loved you anyway.
