Tears will be my lullaby tonight,
Dismissing all of my fears.
Eyes burning like the city lights,
Distasted with the salt of broken tears.

Sleepless nights aren't worth your cheap games,
I've learned to live for only myself.
No more broken promises or false claims,
Stowing all emotions away on a shelf.

Now seeking nothing but solitude,
I've found solace in my cries.
Only searching for more problems to elude,
I'll cater to my own demise.
