Whatever you call them, you need a lot
Ben & Jerry, your two best friends
Chocolate bars that never end
Baggy clothes that pass your toes
Dangerously bitchy, uncontrolled
Don’t dare tell me I’m less than beautiful
Use compliments when they are suitable
Popcorn movies on the couch
Eating as you begin to slouch
Consoling friends and certain aches
Concentration and calm will break
The soaps will do for about three hours
Finish it all off with a nightly shower
When all is done, the mood has gone away
You know you’ve past those monthly days
