Typical HighSchool Life

The empty rooms,
Single chairs
Crowded kitchen;
Smokey air.
Hopping rails
Naked halls
Kitchen table
Dented walls.
Forgotten cares
Like piled shoes
And doing things
You shouldn’t do.
The twisted words
The wishful stares
It’s hard to tell
Who really cares.
Tiny skirts
And empty guts
Senior guys
Sophomore sluts.
Gummy bears
Deep regrets
Be the one
He won’t forget.
Deep bathroom talks
Smoke inside
“One more shot!”
Don’t drink and drive.
The chilling air
The numbing drinks
His heated breath
It’s hard to think.
Shining smile
Sexy eyes
It feels great
To be alive.
Tainted lips
Perfect hands
Convincing voice
With strong demands
Unspoken words
Are finally said
Behind closed doors
In single beds.
Spinning thoughts
Silent cries
His hand is sliding
up her thigh.
Heart speeds up;
Knees go weak;
Search for words;
Try to speak.
Poison kiss
Addictive touch
Truthful words
Hurt so much.
Kettle one plus
Crystal blue
Makes little girls
Act untrue.
But everyone saw
What we couldn’t see
Our crazy fun
And misery.
