We're trying to sleep
It's cold at night
With all those lights
It's one big fight
Trying to survive
a world of war
I'm greatly sure
There is no cure

At night when al great creatures sleep
and the sea is dark and looks twice as deep
I look and think about the moon
Hoping it'll be over soon

You have to know
I'm only human being
Terrible scenes
Broken dreams
Things I should have never seen
Why so cruel?
Why so mean?

People with obsessive need
Kill people just to feed their greed
Their cruel and kill to seize their chance
please, have me spared- I'm innocent

I see a girl
holding a teddy-bear
She's so small
And looks so scared
To protect her
There's only her ten year old brother
Crying still
for their dead mother
It's them
against the big, black world
please, don't cry
little girl

Mothers sleep,
Children sleep
Never to wake up again...
Millions thinking
"poor children,
all that killing"
and they don't do nothing
don't cry, War Child
I'll make sure nobody ever will
kiss you goodnight...
