The girl

The girl in the corner who everyone ignores,
Her nightmares beginning to take over her,
The only love that could have been truly yours,
Her past remains a vivid blur.

Her heart made of ice slowly thaws,
And little by little you begin to observe,
Her whole life was based upon other’s flaws,
Maybe they will all lose their nerve.

Everyone seems so different, keeping emotions locked away,
The girl is an open book, ready for anyone to read her life story,
She cries her tears, daring to keep people at bay,
But this isn’t the end, this is only her emotional glory.
