You slowly begin to cry,
thinking of the pain you hold deep inside,
not telling anyone what you feel
except that one special person,
the harder you cry
the worse it gets,
it brings back all your
childhood memories,
of when you were little,
your mom and dad were your heroes,
the only thing you were afraid of
was the boogeyman,
the memories are perfect,
the family you thought would never die,
but slowly things begin to change,
you got older and your parents
slowly grew apart,
the perfect family has come to an end,
you never come home
because you can't stand to be there
because of the pain it brings,
you look through pictures
wishing you still had the family of you dreams,
but times change and people grow apart,
it's so hard to look back
and remember all the fun
and laughs you once had,
slowly you begin to run out
of tears you can cry,
you realize that
you can wish all you want,
but the family you once had
it torn apart.
