July 10, 2003 .. My first poem.

You are my worst enemy
My biggest fear
I hate you with all my heart
But yet I can't let you go

I'm addicted to the pain
The desire won't leave
I've fallen into a trap
Darkness has surrounded me
I have no way to escape

I'm your fool
You love to torture me
I am a victim of your game
My nerves have taken all they can handle
I think I'm going to break

Congratulations, your plan worked
You broke my heart
Killed my spirit
You betrayed my trust
Leaving me behind to suffer

But after all that has happened, I'm still here
Never again will I break down
And I would like to thank you
You have taught me a lesson
I will never make the same mistake twice
