I’m Struggling Hard to Remain
Faithful and Gay.
For Several Months Now
I Have Fought a Hard Battle
To Remain In Your Worship
And Spread Your Power.
I Have Lost a Lot of Faith
Along This Rough and Rocky Road
But You Have Always Managed To Be Stronger
And Remain My Lord And Savior.
I Have Lost A Lot in This Rough and Miserable Year
Love Is An Issue For Me Not To Fear.
I Feel When I Love They Will Leave Me Alone
To Remember Their Memories and To Cry All Alone.
I Know They Are with You after Their Long Hard Struggle
In This Hard and Scary Life
But Losing Them Hurts Me so and it’s Hard
To Say Goodbye.
I Know Through You Lord I Will See Them Again
So Hold My Hand Ole Lord and Remain My Friend
But Most Important Lord Let Them Know That We Will Be OK Here and For Them
To
Spread Their Wings
And Fly.
