As I sit here writing this poem,
I think how much you mean to me.
We are the best of friends,
I hope that you agree.

We have gone through much together,
We haven't been torn apart.
We will be friends forever,
Unless we aren't very smart.

With you I am so happy,
Away I am so sad.
I love you like a sister,
I hope I haven't done anything to make you very mad.

Sometimes we may make mistakes,
But we always get them right.
You are one of the coolest people I know,
I wish you were with me tonight.

Once in a while we disagree,
But we work it out.
That is the thing that makes us so close,
I don't have any doubt.

Two years ago we were dissconnected,
And in that time I realized how I feel.
I try so hard to deny this emotion,
And I don't know what would be ideal.

You are always in my thoughts.
I don't know what to do.
You are all I think about,
I am being true.

I know you only want to be the best of friends,
I know I want that too.
I cherish our friendship with all of my heart,
I want to tell you for all our great memories, thank you.

But would you just consider this,
Our friendship is something that I would deeply miss.
But maybe if we just let go,
We will have eternal bliss.
