Sour Embrace

I’m lost in a golden age
I shake when I take the stage
Go wherever the wind takes me

I never take the fall
I always stand up tall
I know better than to hate her

If you saw me you’d know that I don’t belong
You’d know you’d better keep moving on
‘Cos I’m the one that keeps choosing wrong
I’m the only one losing out
I have to stop fooling around

I better work before my place is gone
It would be better to disconnect the phone
Tape myself back together when you break me

I lost myself in you, since then I have colored myself in blue
And go wherever you make me
I sold my soul for you; I read my story untold for you
So you could misplace me
If you really wanted me you would chase me
You would embrace me
