Concrete Kisses

Theres a man with a glow,
He knows that I know,
About that heart,
He'll soon need to sew.

We used to walk down the street,
Hand-in Hand In the warm summer heat,
And now he walks to a different beat
With the other woman...
She's oh-so sweet

Concrete Kisses is what you give me,
When your heart is as dark as a big black sea,
And your head is as clouded as cream filled tea.

She tore us apart but then they finished,
Now everything is completely deminished,
I'll stand Eye-to-eye and
Face-to-Face
To try and fix this big disgrace.

I understand we didn't fit.
I completely see why you wanted to quit.
So from this man I knew so well,
I wish for one last thing before we say farewell

I Know you don't miss me,
I know we have no bliss,
So for this one thing I must persist...
I Wish For one last Kiss...
A Concrete Kiss.
