Silence

I scream for you
But the silence consumes my call
How could you have forsaken me?
Always there
This you were
But
What about now?
The silence
It's becoming
My addiction
The silence
It's becoming
My love
But I'm scared
Will it leave me too?
When I call out into the darkness
Answers..
Have become so limited
I'm crying out now
For help
But I guess
I waited too long
Could this be all I have left?
Could this be my only hope?
To trust the silence,
Like I did you,
Is just too much to ask for
On my knees
Oh I've been here before
Life at a halt
Yet pain everlasting
Formation of a prayer
Maybe 'he' will listen
Wishful thinking all too common
Silence,
My defeat
Victorious
Could it be?
