I walk outside the sun stops shining
The night has overcome the day
No one enters in this place
Yet no one ever turns away
Nothing lives or dares to move here
Nothing walks or makes a sound
'Sept the wind which spins around me
Carries leaves up off the ground
Like the wind my soul is ramped
And the leaves they pass me by
The flowers wilt, their spirits dampened
Like the rain from blackend skies
Walking in a burdened graceland
Eyes never cast toward the sky
Standing in a dead tree's shadow
All 'cuz sun has passed me by.
