There was something she didnt know,
When she said to tell her son goodbye,
All he could do was painfully glance
at the tears forming in her eyes.

There stood the love of his life,
his one and only, his "future wife".
Justified in her mind was adheared,
words only loud enough for her to hear:
"wait for me my one and only,
We'll be together soon,
Let me fix everything,
I know you'll trust me to."

As their fingers slipped from one another's,
A love was promised so well.
It could not be interfered by any mother,
neither by the worst demons in hell.

As the days passed,
she grew ever painfully in love,
wondering what she would be like,
if her gave her no words of hope.
she's be left to wallow in the shadows,
and mourn and mope.

Every couple days she would
get a message from him
reassuring his love:
"I love you babe,
you know how much.
I'd name the stars after you,
for in comparison,
they're too far away to touch.
If i dint love you so much,
babe, you'd know.
I'd give my life for you,
I know it shows.
See you soon
(God, i pray)
As always,
live your life
step by step,
day by day."



* this poem was based on my boyfriend and me. His mom said we couldnt go out
anymore becuz of something that had happened. And as hard as she's tryin to
still keep us apart, he's always had faith that soon we'll be able to be
together without having to worry about his mom or anyone else.*
