Whilst the whole world is asleep
I’ve lied in bed with a tear sat upon my cheek
As you leave me
I can’t do anything but sit back and grieve
The more I tried to push you away
You were more adamant to stay
Remembering all the good times we had
Trying to forget the times which were bad
You told me you want me I didn’t believe you
You said Dana I love you and I didn’t say it back to you
As my star fades from your sky
People turn to me and see the reflection of you in my eyes
I could’ve been the drug that you couldn't’t resist
But that opportunity I have securely missed
I finally realized that your love for me was true
You seeked happiness for me in all you do
To be honest you stand out from all the rest
On you my thoughts progress
I know were friends and thats alot
But that don't mean i can't think of what i have not got
