I notice this forgotten child
Lost in sea, to a once
Charred and tattered scene
To come in with a cross
Of pain
And helplessness.

I know that in your mind
She is simply non-existent
But within my own she is simply
A part of me.

I remember her broken soul
And discarded respect
Toward those who couldn't
Even understand.

She felt their attempts,
But they were just too far away.
Sadly enough, she had to lie.
Lie in the face of her creator
Her mother and father reborn.

Rather patronizing in the least
Respect, for it flounders further
Seeing this girl's spirit rise
And flutter to the east.

Alone once again, no longer
Held to one past memory
I refused for so many years
To lean on an unsuccessful past

I now notice my path is changed
I forgot and forgave of what became,
I love those reborn, who tried to help
For it wasn't their fault at all.

All I notice now is the charred and tattered scene
Before my soul was stretched into the sea.
I am now afraid of water
And Focused On The Leaves.
