Behold the Future I Forebode

He sang sleep my lady
Close your eyes
Tomorrow we’ll wake
To another sunrise
But the fires will burn brighter
In the devil’s disguise
Sleep my lady
Close your eyes

And the birds will sing sweetly
But with a gun at their back
As the deer run frantically
Down the track
The ground will crumble
As we are running away
For the life we’ve lead
This is the price we must pay

And we knew the end would come
But we never suspected it so soon
Now already we can hear
The dreaded death tune
But why should we worry
We never did before
We destroyed Paradise
Until there was no more.

He sang sleep my lady
Close your eyes
In the morning we’ll wake
To our last sunrise
And the birds
Will sing sweetly
But with a gun at their back
As the deer run frantically down the track

So sleep my lady
Dream your dream
Of the ground that will crumble
As we are running away

For the life that we’ve lead..

Yes, this is the price we must pay.
