For ever and a day...

I said to you Ill wait,
I'd wait forever and a day...
But forever is just hoping,
That one day you too will stay.
I said to you my love,
that I'd love you till the end...
but the end is just so near now,
and i don't think it's OK.
I' said I'd wait forever,
But i think my mind has changed...
You forever kept me waiting...
But forever stops today.
I'm sorry that forever,
could not go past this day....
but know that some where deep inside,
I'm wishing it had stayed.
