“Hollywood Nights” (The Emptiness And The Fame)

My baby, she locked herself in her mind
And lost so much time
Never knowing life and death are the same
Just like the emptiness and the fame
Cause up here in the hills
Every moment is real
Even if you forget to feel

Everybody says theres something out there
Just waiting, floating on the air
So all the empty hearted
All the ones with nothing to lose
Chase it, like some crazy dream
But all they find is how to get back to where they started
How to break the rules
And to get lost in the way things seem

I know this may be too hard to swallow
When your so fucking hollow
But I can say without sorrow
Let your smile just shine like theres no tomorrow
Let your smile just shine like theres no tomorrow

I told her, you should hate yourself for being so pretty
You should hate this world for being so fitting
You should hate what you are
And what you will become
Cause the end is never far
When your forever young

Rpt. Ch.

Up here in these lonely hills
The night gets so still
And she screams
She screams
Nobody is perfect, we all wear scars
I know right now im falling apart
But someday ill be a star
And shed this broken heart

Hollywood nights, Hollywood nights
So strange how they move
Hollywood nights, Hollywood nights
So strange what they do

Rpt. Ch.

She waged a war against herself
And now theres so little left
Never knowing life and death are the same
Just like the emptiness and the fame
