"I Look Around"

I look around hoping to find some familarity,
But somehow I still just feel so damn empty.
I cry a lot because of all this mess,
It's the most horrible out of all my stress.
I look around and realize your not here,
Then, all of a sudden comes a stream of tears.
This depression has finally hit hard,
Rock bottom is now aboard.
I look around and feel so lost,
I have my friends and my family,
But you were one that has gone.
This pisses me off,
But if you were here,
You would tell me its ok and then I wouldn't shed all these tears.
I look around and then space off,
Remembering the last time I saw you at the football game.
We sat against the fence,
Drawing some helpless defence against our lives.
We hugged each other good bye,
And that was the last tear we had shared together that night.
I look around hoping to find some familarity,
But somehow I just feel so damn empty.
