Familiar Minuscule Place

Analyze me further and tell me what you see
Have you made your conclusion?
Or do I continue to hinder
The process
My sincere apologies sir
Flip another page
“Yes, no, at times”
My voice echoes off the walls

And as I wonder to the window
The only answer to my call is your voice
Oh believe me please
I would like so much to join you
And your friends
All looking so peaceful in your innocence
Climb this tree with me
Now give me your hand
We’ll climb to the very top and reveal each and every
Dark secret

Inconceivable fortitude of life spills from your seams
You allow me to rinse myself clean
With each and every drop of you
How I could spend forever
Never stopping to look back at my wrongs and my rights
Integrity lay between us
Let’s all join hands in this never ceasing gathering
Enabling every concept of the context
To be carried with the wind

Staring so long I’m not sure I noticed the sky
Becoming so idle
Surely it’s just an illusion lifting itself
From the nightmare of another
Floating slowly across our view
It’ll all be gone soon my dear
I really believe it will
I think this is only temporary
I sincerely hope it will pass

Raindrop sheathes the blades of grass
Beside where I sit
A smile decors like lace upon these lips
Recognizing the purifying substance
But wait, linger for a moment more
Is mine the only skin that is burning?
I don’t want to wake

An illogical force pushes me back into this
Diminutive space
And again the window in view
The only answer to my call
Scribbling pen on paper
Dilated eyes behind glass so thick
“Yes, no, at times”
My voice echoes off the walls
