Can I go on?

I fell all the way down,
I almost went through,
But I held on to you,
And you saved me from ending this life so soon.

You held on, you cradled me in your arms,
You kept me save, you kept me sane,
You gave me the love that I charish still to this day.

But then you left, he said it was time to go.
You left me lost, confused and alone.
You left me with a voice that lingers in my head,
It says we will be okay together forever, even when one of us is dead.

So now the time has come, time that I have to say goodbye.
Time that I have to let go of the only person who would let me cry.
The person who saved me from living life a lie.
The person who wasn't going to let me die.

Now days come, and days pass. But i'm still here without you to grasp.
Without you leading me from path to path.
And I sit here alone, in this little old bath,
Wanting to let go of these voices in my past.
I cut myself with this thin peice of glass,
Wondering if this pain will forever last.
Maybe I should end this life, at last.
