As we grow up, we learn things about life,
It’s not easy being a happy normal kid,
Sometimes we cry ourselves to sleep, sometimes we laugh too hard,
Thinking about the stupid things we did.

As time goes by you learn that the person that wasn't gonna let you down
probably will,
It hurts like hell I know, I’ve been there done that, come out the other
side grinning,
Pick up the phone; make a call to them,
Sort it out, stand up straight cause you know you’re winning.


You will have your heart broken probably more than once,
It's harder every time but soon you’ll see,
you’ll break hearts too, so remember how it felt,
But baby that’s the way it’s meant to be.

You'll fight with your best friend,
It’s only because you care,
If you didn’t fight then there’s no love there,
It shows how much they mean to you,
Don’t feel sad because they feel the same way too.

You'll blame a new love for things an old one did.
If you’re still hurting then cry,
It’s the best medicine but soon you’ll see,
Your lover will be there until you die.

You'll cry because time is passing too fast,
Eventually you’ll lose someone you love,
Every day seems like a million mile race,
Straight up a hill but down the other side,
So if life’s worth it you can keep up the pace.

So take too many pictures,
Laugh too much each day,
Make every second count,
Don’t throw the moment away,
Love like you've never been hurt before,
It’s a minute of happiness you'll always lack,
Don’t hold back,
Don’t let it slip though your fingers,
Never forget,
Live life with no regrets,
Cherish every breath you take,
Exhilarate and captivate don’t let it go to waste.
