I wish for the day,
When you no longer have to pay,
Pay with enjoyable hobbies,
You can not play.
No one else seems to care,
But I see those stares,
You give when yet another doctor speaks,
You'll have to come back in a week.
I see the clear tear fall from the corner of your eye,
Which seems to enlarge as time goes by.
And yet you continue on your journey to be strong,
But I know that your wrong,
When you tell me again and again that you're OK.
I would give everything I have,
Just so you wouldn't be sad,
To see your face light up once again,
And remind you that this isn't the end.
Id take away all the pills and the shots,
I wish I can make it all stop.
Let me wash the pain away,
Then you will always be here to stay,
From some help from all the angels up above.
With me and all the people you love.
I thank god everyday that your here with me,
Why can't I just make you see,
Just how much you mean to me,
Let me know what I can do,
So its not only you,
Dealing with all the fear and hurt,
That you alone don't deserve.
Talk to me, I'm always here for you,
We can make it through,
This time of not knowing whats going to happen,
You will soon be able to start relaxing,
Cause I will do everything I can,
And wish for the day,
When you no longer have to pay.
