Torn Between Two Friends

Everything was fine,
Until I saw the sign,
Unfortunately I was wrong,
So I tried to be strong.

You told me one thing,
And they told me another,
I thought we could all be friends with each other,
Its a mistake on my part, I know,
Because now I am frozen like the snow.
I'm frozen in a place of not knowing.
Is this very moment how its going to keep going.

I don't want to take sides,
And won't go further into the tide,
Thats pulling me toward the middle,
Of this very confusing riddle,
Where I'm stuck and alone,
And have no place to go.

I'm torn between two friends,
When will this ever end.
Can't you see,
What you're doing to me,
You both took a piece of my heart,
And tore it apart.
I start to gasp for air,
Don't you care,
I tried to be fair.

I guess you'll both never learn,
So I'll have to be stern.
When I tell you I'm done, I give up, no more,
Till I'm no longer torn,
Between two friends I Adore,
This, the end, I was waiting for.
