I'm on my knees
And I'm shedding tears of death
They pour down fast
Burning as if acid rain

Oh can't you see your initials
They are forever branded on my heart
They engrave deeper
Day by day

My soul bleeds
The blackest of all
It's open and revealing
A wound left unhealed
Unattended and unstiched

These lungs are making their hardest attempt to
Not take in that last breath just yet
They long to breath you once more
On how they try so hard to not give up

I'm holding out my hands
Just to see how frail they have become
Where your fingers were once laced
Gaps are left, never to be filled

These arms are in the formation
Of when I used to hold you near and dear
They grasp your body still today
No one will ever compare

These wrists in such poor condition
Slits and cuts with so much blood loss
The scars are open once again
Just to bleed for you my love

Every ounce of life left in this wretched body
Will wither away
I'll give it all away for you
I'll take these final moments to think of you
I'll give it all up over you my dearest love
