Suppressed Spirits of The Night

The night seemingly endless
Longing for your tight hold
Without your sweet caress
These arms, they get so cold

Waiting on a recurring dream
To finally escape this mind
Traveling so far just to see
Unceasing paths refuse to unwind

Another night goes by
Without a single alteration
Sick of staring into these eyes
They shout such false accusations

I tell myself I’ll wait for all time
That I can make it to the top of this climb
But how can I say I have forever
When there’s not one day I do endeavor?

Constantly surrounded by such beautiful things
Such a light descending upon their wings
Striving to achieve such magnificent splendor
What I long to be in this sweet surrender

In need of a hand to reach further than most
Bring me to excellence, or maybe come close
Complete me in ways I’ve always longed
Purge me of my every wrong

Make me see the beauty that exists
Commence me into your wonderful bliss
Introduce me to things so surreal
Help me live and help me feel

Until the time we finally do meet
My vision is blurred and my heart doth weep
I can only hope it will happen before long
So my soul can sing it’s freedom song
