He leads his sheep along the dark pathway,
The one he says will be safest for them
But in reality, he knows it’s leading them to destruction.
They fear, they fear, asking him where they are going.
Their shepherd tells them they’ll be okay.
When suddenly, death jumps right in their face.
Knocking the shepherd from his feet,
Exposing the flock to the enemy.
Their fears become greater as the enemy emerges closer.
Closer, closer. . .
Flashing its yellow eyes of terror,
Emerging closer. . .
Closer, closer. . .
And the enemy finally strikes.
While the shepherd watches his flock become weaker.
Weaker, weaker. . .
Shepherd watches thousands of them lose their lives,
But still he tells them:
They’re walking down the right path.
