Add some lies,
A cup or two of guilt.
A pinch of hate,
Cause thats what we felt.

A teaspoon of rose petals,
That were left to wilt.
A few sweet nothings whispered in my ear,
Some of the things I'd wish I'd never heard.

Add a box of broken promises,
A few insults here & there.
Add a couple knives,
For when the pains to hard to bare.

Add a mask or two,
That you hid behind so well.
Add the last words,
Of your farewell.

Add the hours I couldn't sleep,
Throw in a couple drops of tears that creep,
Down these cheeks to leave black streaks.

A cup of the days that didn't feel the same,
A few rainy days to add despair.
Might as well add the days you never cared.
A teaspoon of forget and a nugget of regret.

Sprinkle in a few cups of snow,
For a heart that took a heavy blow.
A spray of the perfume he used to wear.
The picture in you locket that has a tear.

Throw in the soggy pillow sheet,
Where your tears and make up meet.
Take memories of the worst,
Toss them in, It should burst.

The below are fully optional

For extra flavor, Cry some more tears.
For extra hate, Add all the years.
For new hope, Throw in your fears.
For new love, Drain the sadness that you feel.
For a new start, Subtract the moments that you cant heal.
To make it worth while, Throw in your new smile.
For new bliss, remember this.
For a new day, throw this recipe away!
