Do You?

Do you see us walk among you?
Do you feel us fade into times forgotten?
We see you walking by us
We feel you slowly slip away into time
Like we did
We are the forgotten ones of the past
We are the children who live outside of time

Will you join us one day?

Do you see us working by your side?
Do you hear us laugh and talk with you?
We are the myths of long past
The legends you have forsaken
Forever we will watch you

Will you be forgotten one day as well?

Do you feel us watching you
As you fade from this life?
Just before you die, do you see us at last?
We will always walk among you
Talk and laugh with you
Work by your side
Always watching you fade
Not only from time but from memory as well

The question is: Do you watch us too?
